1 year ago ago when I decided to give this Etsy thing a shot
(as a personal challenge really) I had no idea what a digital product was at the time and why someone would buy a digital file...especially something not customized. That actually baffled me a bit.
I soon realized there's a huge market for digital portraits, planners, kids printable, wall decor and the list goes on and on...and on. What got me interested was seeing certain digital products blow up in sales that I knew I could 100% create in 5 minutes. So I did. I created my own versions within the same trending niches. Although most digitals sell for $10 or under, you can sell them repeatably without lifting a figure, hence why I think it's the best way to earn passively.
Now I will be blunt in saying, if you're selling specifically through Etsy, you have to get your products ranking high to see results which can take some time and effort. But as far as what type of products to sell, I'd recommend playing around with digital!
Doing your research and creating designs that are trending is the first step. Yes, of course there's more to it and Etsy is a (brutal) marketplace to tap into...but it can 100% be done and I'm happy to help!
